Muzenza
Block afro, established in 5 of May of 1982, the quarter of the
Ribeira,
Salvador. It paraded in 1982, with the subject "Tribute the Bob
Marley". In
1984, with the subject "Twilight of the Nature". In the posterior
years, it
paraded with the following subjects: "Dance of IaÔ", "Kênia",
"Messenger of
the Love" and "Rastafari". In 1988, its subject was "Guerrila of
Jamaica".
Its colors are the black color, turn yellow and the green, the colors
of the
flag of Jamaica. The instruments of prominence of its battery are
tamborins,
taróis, berimbaus and surdo.
